Tonight, the wrinkly one went out, leaving me in charge of things, when a strange two-legger appeared at the entrance to our den!
Suddenly, the wall started yowling! I’ve never heard the wall yowl before, and so loudly! I yowled back, but I’m not sure it even heard me.
I did not like this two-legger. Unlike the other two-leggers the wrinkly one had introduced Unlike the other two-leggers I’d met, his smell was nothing like the wrinkly one! I hissed at him, letting him know his presence was not wanted. Since the den and I were both yowling at him, surely he would run away with his tail between his legs!
Instead, another two-legger of questionable scents arrived! I hissed at him too! What are all these humans doing in my den? They are just making lots of noise and not feeding me treats! GET OUT!
I’m not exactly sure what happened next. Either the two-leggers were fighting, or mating. So difficult to tell…
The dark two-legger started swatting the striped two-legger around like he was a little fly. Such pesky creatures, flies… I never have liked them!
The striped two-legger tried to fly away…
…But the dark two-legger squashed him like the annoying bug he was. I had to admit, I was impressed by his hunting prowess!
The dark two-legger seemed quite pleased, rightfully so, as he drug his prey away.

Yay! Police Officer wins the fight hands down and delivers his prey to jail. You were right, Kitty to not like the striped two-legger.

If Shadow hadn’t been a kitten at the time, then I would’ve have the interactions to have him take on the burglar himself, I’m pretty sure… mwahaha. Who knows, maybe one day I’ll still get another chance.

Bwahahaha.. definitely NOT mating. I thought it was funny how the burglar seemed to be watching kitty in the midst of all. So much for running away, huh?

Kitty yowling at the wall was funny. I’m glad kitty hissed at the burglar. Serves him right. The cat’s confusion at the police officer fighting the burglar was funny and probably all too real. Especially when the cat equated it to “hunting prowess.” Cute chapter!

I’m sure Shadow could have taken that burglar on without help. Or not. I’m glad the police arrived because the burglar probably wouldn’t have been nice to a cat who jumped at his face. I loved Shadow’s commentary of the police officer and the burglar’s fight.
